Communications Manager

  • Led four consecutive public-goal fundraising campaigns to meet or exceed their targets, capped by the largest annual giving campaign in the organization's history in 2026, roughly 3x the prior year's result.
  • Built an end-to-end video production capability from scratch, managing an external production partnership, directing on-camera talent including Harvard President Alan Garber, and editing in Adobe Premiere Pro. Video-anchored campaigns generated $300K+ over 18 months, including a $30K Giving Tuesday raise from a video shot solo on my phone within days of starting at the organization.
  • Owned the complete overhaul of the organization's website: vendor RFP, contract negotiation, design, incorporating stakeholder feedback, on-schedule launch, and ongoing site governance.
  • Coordinated and prepared the Executive Director for appearances on ABC News, CNN, CBS News, The Boston Globe, and more; drafted holding statements for crisis moments.
  • Designed major-gift program packages for donor leadership circles, co-produced consecutive Annual Impact Reports, and wrote fundraising and stewardship communications in the distinct voices of the Executive Director, senior staff, and named alumni: hundreds of messages annually.
  • Architected a multi-channel comms system (email, social, landing pages, video, direct mail), including a weekly email rotation with staff and student voices that directly drives in-person donor recognition and stewardship outcomes.
