Coordinates and prepares the Executive Director for major media appearances, drafts crisis statements, and manages press strategy in real time through periods of intense public attention.
Press relations wasn't part of the original Communications Manager role. As public attention on Harvard intensified, I built the function from scratch and now run it across four connected areas: a partnership with Hillel International's communications team for national reach and crisis support, appearance coordination for the Executive Director's media segments (ABC News, CNN, CBS News, The Boston Globe, and more), crisis statement drafting including the response to Harvard's Antisemitism Task Force Report, and a structured media-mention tracker for board reporting, with select coverage catalogued on the In the News page of hillel.harvard.edu.
Catalogs media coverage of Harvard Hillel as an externally-facing record of the organization's public moments. I suggested, advocated for, and supervised the creation of this page as part of the website overhaul.
